4:23nice lord of the rings refrence
I used to see wild parrots flying around London when I was working there. It goes to show their amazing adaptability!
Mine just screams in the morning..
As a future update is most likely to flood this server, flight + intelligence seems like it would be more than OP
If you've ever tried to see an iguana when it jumps into the foliage and then freezes you understand that bright green is in fact a pretty good camouflage color in a heavily tropical area
At the Greenwood cemetery in Brooklyn, NY, the entrance is besieged by large and ornate gothic stone gates with lots of nooks and crevices. Back in the '30's, I believe, a box of green parrots was being shipped to the zoo, broke in transit, and the contents escaped to the gates of the cemetery. They made nests and still live there in a giant self-sustaining colony.
Don’t say stab unless you mean same type attack bonus
If there's a city which has cockatiels instead of pidgeons
I need a clip of the albatroz entering new zealand by itselfit's way too funny
Damn parrots can replace humans when we’re gone.
Idk, corvids might have a shorter life span but having the ability to pass information to other corvid players, and even across generations, is very strong. If a generation of crows deem a specific human player a threat later generations will still remember and continue to view that specific player as a threat even though all the players from the generation before have left the game. PBS Nova did a great episode on it.
Parrots and Corvids are not on the same level of intelligence. Corvids beat them outright. Corvids are the only non-human or non-ape that can recognize it's own reflection with the mark test.
Dolphins too lol
Parrots do too lol
Blue Macaws in Caracas have learned that humans love them and will give the food in exchange of non aggressive behavior (so they can take a selfie). Therefore, it's so common in Caracas, to see these huge birds going from window to window, making a lot of noise to get food. Fucking geniuses
Woah sonic boom and peck do he have leer
Yes they are, they are op, I’m not even going to watch the whole video because I know this is a fact-
Is that music a Barry Leitch composition?
Are Corvidae OP?
While parrots might be an OP class, the parrots in my party are definitely in one of the lowest tiers, if not right at the bottom (not that I care, because they're still the best teammates~). The tiny, adorable Bourke's parrot isn't very loud or strong, and isn't among the smartest of the parrots at all, but they get an excellent stealth bonus effective on larger classes (unless they're wearing selective breeding skins, like two of mine) and a great takeoff, even though they hare reduced mobility stats from being stripped of most of their climbing ability.
Darkest Dungeon ring..."Ruin has come to our family"
why am i watching this? who watches this shit?
5:53 Tierzoo's use of the word "skill" triggers a pavlovian response in me to close the video now
Protozoa Tier List when?
The cumbersome organization tribally preach because tyvek conservatively laugh as a garrulous trunk. screeching, tested lake
So how good are the Parrots actually? Ahahah
If you own a black car in a bird-heavy environment, you know about the other passive ability this man didn’t mention: aerial bombardment.
1:45 Just love the casuall Darkest dungeon refference
Parrots being able to be good party members for humans is very good for me, as I am a human wanting a parrot and I am not a spider.
I felt you should have also mentioned that parrots ability to climb saves them so much energy as well. Flights takes a lot of energy to use, so they love to climb when they can to save on it.
bro parakeet mains become literal trolls when they join human parties. all they do is scream.
There's feral lovebirds in Phoenix, AZ
To the “People” who keep animals in cadges, why?
people have always kept animals, sometimes for actual purposes (guard dogs, pest control with cats) and sometimes for vanity (like parrots). A lot of the "high and mighty" like the combined image of a ruler with a pet lion or something to indicate how strong they are, with a parrot to show how beautiful they are, and that list can go on and on, point being it's to stroke their ego.
Let's be real everyone play parrot for the glamor
In the city of Stuttgart, Germany we famously have a population of yellow-headed amazons living in the public parks. According to urban legend they escaped from somewhere in the 80s and made themselves a home.
Parrots just dropped all Skill Points into speech and are going with a full speech run
*Parrot Used Screm*It's super cute.
Is there any build where intelligence is not S teir so far?
I like parrots more than people
The halo shield sound xD
Funny thing is there was a Poisonous Parrot that went extinct 150 years ago called the Green Carolina Parrot. Its the only native North American Parrot, North Carolina, and was Poisonous because of its diet of poisonous plants
being poisonous because of your diet is like being tall because you’re fat
This video has to have the best like to dislike vratio like 870 dislikes and 110k likes and the most impressive part is that it’s deserves it to
2:18Unless that's one of the royal albatrosses, I'm pretty sure it's a Mollymawk. It's not a black backed seagull since the black doesn't reach all the way across their back. But either royal albatross is hard to find unless your in Dunedin.
Come on we need a crack the code on how to get rid of Covid for good like seriously we need a push-up to dev tier
Life’s not a game man... or it is then you die. So it goes.

The reason why they got the ability to talk to humans was to tease them when the escape capitivity
Whats that bug at the very end that looks like a wasp and a praying mantis? Never seen anything like it before
2:18 must appreciate Dark Souls reference :)
Imagine how terrifying parrots would be if they were predators
When my budgie bites my finger is very inconvenient
They're sonic abilities are also great for annoying humans they've partied with
I didn't know people mained parrot, I always mained monke
While not as popular, aren't vultures extremely smart as well?
Parrots and Corvids are the ONLY species to have unlocked cross species communication.Think about that.Of course we're overpowered!
"Hunt and Peck" they said "It's just like crunching crackers!" i Thought!
Poor tourtuse, it seems he is dumber than an oyster
I saw a crow dip a hot cheeto in water to get rid of its spice
that’s just evil
Really hate parrots. Probably just childhood trauma from a parrot letting out a gunshot level shriek close to my head. Also the fact they can just straight up bite a finger straight off if they get scared, no matter how "tamed" they are Besides that, in researching parrots as pets I found out how much they can limit your life. Like you can't use teflon pans, can't use any aerosol spray, can't leave anything coated in zinc laying around. Parrots are terrible human companions
depends on your support class type even if he rated them f tier support classes
@Bolt why go for anything but best when it comes to companions though. Dogs have everything else beat. If you don't have much money you can adopt. If you're allergic you can get a dog that's allergy friendly
Very overrated. The companionship and training is amazing but it is not worth it. Domesticated birds like pigeons make much better pets.
What about peacocks?
Actually, they are pretty OP. Those mfs eat all the corn my parents farm produce...
We have wild parrots in Los Angeles.
I heard that because of cloning some previously patched out animals are being added back in the next few years to decades
Humans are by far the most OP once leveled up
Quaker parrots have a green back and white stomach feathers which means descent stealth
Me who has thousands of hours of don’t starve play time: 3:55 Is ThAt A dOnT sTaRvE rEfErEnCe
Parrot moveset:Peck, fly, supersonic, and aerial ace
Tortoise builds have an extremely long lifespan too.
What's up guys, my name's Luke and today we're gonna be playing Outside...Hmm I think I'll go for a human player and spec into defence with my first few evolution points.
@Ichi. Naw I've got am exoskeleton
now I just think of a human covered with hard scales
Is this a real game if so what’s it called
Go outside please
nope but it’s called outside
But corvids use tools effectively... am confused o_o
Parrots actually camouflage perfectly their colours r perfect for its environment cockatoo is white as r the gumtrees it frequents or the red and yellow of rosellas is the same colour as the flowers and limbs of the box trees Blue hmmm what colour is the sky agin?Believe it or not a grass parrot is primarily green with yellow
Video games are such a good vehicle for learning, he can teach us without there being an actual game to base this off of.
I have parrots and I must say they can make you wanna run
Parrots have high intelligence to fulfill their deep-seated desire for evil
galapacos tortoise should be in longest life span list
Loved to see a don’t starve refrence in here
Yes.ps this is easily in the running for my favorite YT video of all time
I've seen countless ads about Curiosity Stream. This channel is the first one that actually made me curious about it. The most well-integrated ads EVER!!
American veteran: *walking through the jungle*Parrot: *syrinx shriek*American veteran: *vietnam flashbacks*
Me watching with my Cockatiel
3:52 Oh shit i just realized that's Wilson LOL. Should've used Wilba instead.
Some expert parrot players actually want to be with humans, as it is guaranteed that the humans will give parrots good lootI know this as the parrots in my home never gets out of his house.
There's a Green Cheek Conure in my party named Merit and my brother is convinced that whatever is sitting behind that monitor playing as that bird it's not of this mortal realm, and honestly? I believe it.
As a parrot player, I see other players calling for nerfs, and I'd like to pledge our case to the devs. What have enabled our success can also be our downfall, so it's not like we got some without losing some. We have paid a hefty price for having a combination of high intelligence stat, high life span, high social skills, and the flight ability. That is, even though we can give human players the "depression" debuff from our syringe shriek, we ourselves are prone to the "depression" debuff too. Our high intelligence stat is achieved through the "high curiosity" trait. But this trait backfires and does damage to ourselves if not enough mental stimulation is given. Our high life span combined with the "good memory" trait that comes with high intelligence, means that sooner or later many things around us become boring. Our high social skills also works in a similar way, it gave us entry into several different play styles such as "human support class", "monogamous couple", and "flock". But if not satisfied it will give us a "lonely" debuff that is again self-damaging. Sometimes it can become the more damaging "jealousy" debuff if our human partner gives attention to anyone else but us. These debuffs coupled with the "depression" debuff becomes a deadly concoction, and it gives us another extremely damaging debuff in the "self harm" category --- "feather plucking". All of this is made worse because of our flight ability --- When we attempt a "Human support class" play style, due to human players not having the flight ability, we parrot mains are very often confined within cages. This situation cannot really be helped, but the limited space for exploration makes it much easier for us to get the "depression" and "lonely" debuffs. As you see, dear devs, our very effective combination of stats and abilities should not be considered "OP", because there are always two sides to a coin. Just like a physically large build risks not having enough to eat, an intelligent and social build risks not having enough mental and social stimulation. So please, do not nerf us. Without us, the average intelligence level in the aerial biome would be way too atrocious to look at, what with all those insects bringing down our average IQ. I suspect most of the complaints come from pigeon mains. But pigeons are stupid. With an incredibly dull fashion sense. Why would you listen to their mumbled monotone none sense instead of my beautiful and intelligent speech? You might also have received a few complaints from these "human spouses" of our human partners... Don't listen to them either, they are home wreckers. I was with my human first! MY human is MINE for LIFE!!! Ahem... Excuse me. The point is, don't listen to those home wreckers. They are, as I've always called them, "IDIOTS"!
Alright when I finish my human gameplay imma go try out parrot it seems like a good class
Even if they're not as optimized as parrots are, I'd love to see you do a video on corvids!
he is talkin macaws macaws are not your average parrot
? What does average parrot mean exactly? Macaws aren't more intelligent than other parrot species.
You are too cool
What is OP?
In my city we have a zoo for birds, one time the parrots cage broke and now the whole country is filled with parrots. They are almost as common as pigeons
This makes me want a Parrot Pokemon that can use Roar and its ability causes Roar to do damage
Dynasty. Yet another word americans say incorrectly
nebula is terrible!!!!!!
name checks out
4:40 great feathers
what would be max stealth?
@Bolt but humans will soon be able to temporarily upgrade their stealth stat to the same level when they equip tech
@Ichi. Cephalapods have the highest stealth achievable that goes far beyond basic camoflauge.
@Bolt they are almost max, humans can max stealth in weird ways
Cephalapods like cuttlefish.
